Intellectual Property Claim
Last updated: September 2026
Alcorav respects the intellectual property rights of creators, brands, designers, photographers, businesses, and other rights holders. We expect our customers, partners, contributors, and website visitors to respect those rights as well.
This Intellectual Property Claim page explains how to notify Alcorav if you believe that content appearing on alcorav.com may infringe your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. It also explains the information we may need in order to review a claim.
1. Our Approach to Intellectual Property
Alcorav aims to use website materials appropriately and to respect the rights of legitimate intellectual property owners. Website content may include product photographs, descriptions, graphics, logos, trademarks, page designs, written materials, icons, promotional content, and other materials.
Some materials may belong to Alcorav, while other materials may be supplied by manufacturers, vendors, service providers, licensors, or other authorized parties. Ownership of a particular item should not be assumed solely because the material appears on our website.
2. Types of Intellectual Property Concerns
Claims may relate to different types of intellectual property. Depending on the nature of the concern, you may contact us regarding suspected unauthorized use of materials such as:
| Claim Type | Examples of Potentially Relevant Material |
|---|---|
| Copyright | Photographs, illustrations, written content, graphics, original designs, videos, or other copyright-protected works. |
| Trademark | Brand names, logos, symbols, product marks, or other identifiers that may be used without appropriate authorization. |
| Design Rights | Certain protected visual designs, product designs, or other qualifying creative elements where applicable. |
| Other Rights | Other intellectual property or proprietary rights that you reasonably believe are being violated by website content. |
3. Before Submitting a Claim
Before contacting Alcorav, please consider whether the material is actually protected, whether you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder, and whether the use may be permitted under applicable law or an existing license, authorization, permission, or other legal exception.
If you are submitting a claim on behalf of another person, company, brand, or organization, you should have appropriate authority to represent that rights holder.
Providing accurate information helps us understand the nature and scope of the concern and reduces unnecessary delays during the review process.
4. Information to Include in a Claim
To help Alcorav review an intellectual property complaint, please provide sufficient information to identify both the claimed right and the material that is the subject of the complaint.
Rights Holder Information
- Full name of the rights holder.
- Company or organization name, if applicable.
- Contact email address.
- Telephone number, where appropriate.
- Your relationship to or authority to represent the rights holder.
Protected Work or Right
- A description of the copyrighted work, trademark, design, or other intellectual property involved.
- Information that helps establish ownership or authorization, where appropriate.
- Registration information or other identifying information, if applicable to the type of right being asserted.
Location of the Reported Material
- The URL or specific webpage where the material appears.
- The product name, listing name, page title, or other identifying details.
- A clear description of the material you believe is infringing.
Explanation of the Concern
Please explain why you believe the identified material infringes your intellectual property rights. Where possible, describe the relationship between the original protected work and the material appearing on Alcorav.
5. Recommended Claim Format
You may structure your notice using the following information. A formal legal format is not required for every inquiry, but a clear and complete submission can help us understand the issue.
- Identify the rights holder and provide reliable contact information.
- Identify the intellectual property that you believe is protected.
- Identify the material on Alcorav that you believe creates the concern.
- Provide the relevant URL or other specific location of the material.
- Explain the alleged infringement clearly and factually.
- Provide supporting information that may help establish ownership or authorization.
- Identify your authority if you are acting for another rights holder.
- Provide your contact information so we can request clarification if necessary.
6. Accuracy of Claims
Intellectual property complaints should be submitted in good faith and should contain information that the claimant reasonably believes to be accurate.
Please do not submit knowingly false, misleading, incomplete, or intentionally abusive claims. Claims that do not contain enough information to identify the protected work, the alleged infringement, or the person submitting the complaint may require additional clarification before they can be reviewed.
7. Review of Submitted Claims
After receiving a claim, Alcorav may review the information provided to determine what action, if any, may be appropriate. The review may include examining the reported webpage, product listing, images, descriptions, or other relevant materials.
We may contact the claimant for additional information if the original submission does not provide enough detail to understand the concern.
Depending on the circumstances, possible actions may include requesting clarification, restricting access to specific content, removing or modifying content, contacting a relevant supplier or contributor, or taking another appropriate step.
Submission of a claim does not guarantee removal of content or any specific outcome. Each matter may depend on the facts, applicable rights, available evidence, and other relevant circumstances.
8. Counterclaims and Disputed Content
If content is reported and the person or business responsible for that content disputes the claim, Alcorav may request information from the relevant parties before deciding how to proceed.
Where appropriate, the parties may be asked to resolve ownership, authorization, licensing, or other intellectual property questions directly or through the applicable legal process.
Alcorav does not determine ownership of complex intellectual property disputes simply because a complaint has been submitted. Where a matter involves a substantial legal dispute, the parties may need to seek independent legal advice or use an appropriate dispute-resolution process.
9. Copyright Claims
For copyright-related concerns, please identify the original copyrighted work as specifically as possible and explain where and how the allegedly infringing material appears on our website.
If the original work is available online, you may provide a link or other identifying information that allows us to locate it. If the work is not publicly available, you may provide other information that reasonably establishes the nature of the work and your relationship to it.
Copyright claims should be limited to material that the claimant is authorized to report and should distinguish between the protected work and the specific use being challenged.
10. Trademark Claims
For trademark-related concerns, please identify the mark, the relevant rights holder, and the specific material or use that you believe creates the issue.
Where applicable, include information about the relevant registration, jurisdiction, goods or services, or other details that can help identify the asserted trademark rights.
A trademark complaint should clearly explain the relationship between the mark and the reported use rather than simply identifying a similar word, image, or design.
11. Third-Party Content
Some website materials may originate from third parties, including manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, or other authorized sources. If you believe third-party content appearing on Alcorav infringes your rights, please identify the specific material and explain the basis of your claim.
Alcorav may communicate with the relevant third party when additional information is needed to assess ownership, authorization, licensing, or other rights associated with the material.
12. Intellectual Property and Product Listings
A product listing may contain several separate elements, such as product photography, product descriptions, brand references, logos, measurements, graphics, and other information. If your concern applies only to a particular element, please identify that element specifically.
This helps prevent unnecessary action concerning unrelated portions of a product listing and allows the reported issue to be reviewed more precisely.
13. No Waiver of Rights
Nothing on this page is intended to waive, limit, or replace any rights, remedies, defenses, or procedures available under applicable intellectual property laws.
This page provides a practical method for contacting Alcorav about intellectual property concerns. It is not intended to provide legal advice or establish legal rights beyond those applicable under relevant law.
14. Privacy and Submitted Information
Information submitted in connection with an intellectual property complaint may be used to evaluate, investigate, communicate about, and respond to the reported issue.
Please provide only information that is reasonably necessary for the claim. Our handling of personal information is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
